Markets

The right price, from sources you can check

Validator-voted reference prices, signed market feeds and a blended aggregate for contracts and programs.

Paxeer X gives builders prices they can rely on without running their own feed. Validators vote a reference price, market feeds arrive signed by permitted keys, and an aggregator blends several sources into one answer with a confidence.

Every lending desk, perpetual market and dollar-denominated contract lives or dies by its price source. Paxeer X carries price inside the network. Validators agree a reference price for the assets the network cares about, perpetual markets receive signed observations from feeders they have permitted, and a built-in aggregator turns several feeds into one number you can defend.

Three sources, one answer

Reference prices from validators
The validator set votes a price each round. A contract that needs a steady reference for collateral, or a fee denominated in dollars, reads it directly.
Signed feeds for live markets
Each perpetual market names the keys allowed to feed it. Observations are signed and checked for staleness, sequence and deviation, and rejected if they fail. A bad tick never reaches a position.
A blended aggregate
Feed several sources with a confidence each and get a confidence-weighted median. One outlier cannot drag the answer, because no single feed is allowed to dominate.

A lending protocol in practice

  1. 01

    Choose sources

A lending team reads the validator reference price for collateral and the market feed for the volatile asset it lends against.

  2. 02

    Blend them

The aggregator weights both by confidence. During a quiet hour the slow source steadies the fast one; during a spike the fast one leads.

  3. 03

    Act in the transaction

Liquidation checks read the committed price inside the same transaction as the repayment. No off-chain bot is a single point of failure.

  4. 04

    Prove it later

Each accepted observation is on chain with its signer, so a dispute about which price applied is settled by reading, not arguing.

Guardrails built in

  • Staleness windows per market
  • Maximum deviation per tick
  • Sequence checks against replays
  • Named, revocable feeder keys
  • Halt by the market administrator
  • Readable by contracts, programs and agents alike
A price is only as good as your ability to say where it came from.

For operators who run a feed

Operators register a key with the market they serve, publish observations as ordinary transactions and get a receipt for each. The network sponsors the gas for approved feeders, so a feed does not stall for want of a balance. Builders who only consume prices never need to think about any of this; they read a number and get on with it.
